Welcome to The Foundry

We know that checking out a new church can be intimidating. We’ve all been there too! Our hope is that you’ll find The Foundry to be a safe and welcoming place where you can explore what it means to follow Jesus.

To make your first visit comfortable, check out the information below - you’ll find more details about what to expect, where to park, and where to go when you visit us. Hope to see you soon!

What to Expect

Our services are approximately 65 minutes long. While you’re here, you’ll hear a Bible-based message from someone on our teaching team, we’ll let you know about upcoming events and how to connect outside of Sunday mornings, and we’ll worship together with a few songs. (Don’t worry if you don’t know the words or if singing isn’t your thing. The words will be on a screen for you, and you don’t need to be Beyonce to join in.)

We take communion together each week as a reminder of what Jesus has done for us. Our crackers are gluten-free, and we use grape juice instead of wine.

There is no dress code here. We are all pretty casual.

We serve free coffee, tea, and hot chocolate every Sunday on the curb in front of the building. If it’s raining, we'll pull it all inside our lobby. If you arrive early, the coffee station is a great place to hang out and meet some new friends.

If you have kids between 6 weeks and 5th grade, they’re welcome to check out Foundry Kids on our first floor. Kids' safety is very important to us, so all of our kids volunteers have been background-checked and our kids area is secure.

Where to Go

Our building is located at 165 E Randall St, on the corner of Johnson and Randall Streets, across from Riverside Park. The main entrance is on the Johnson Street/park side.

Once inside, our worship service takes place upstairs, and our Kids area is straight ahead. Restrooms are located on the first floor beside the staircases.

If you need assistance getting upstairs, we have a small elevator that can take you upstairs. Look for one of our Frontline Team members, they’ll be wearing an orange button, and can help you to the elevator.

Parking

We do not have a parking lot, but free street parking is usually easy to find within a block or two of our building on a typical Sunday. Ravens game days can make parking a little more tricky, so plan some extra time on those days. If you have trouble finding a spot or are unsure where to go, pull up in front of our building and look for a Frontline team member (they’ll be wearing an orange button); they can assist you in finding a spot.

You’re also welcome to walk, bike, scoot, or take public transportation to get to us. We are near the Charm City Circulator’s Purple Line Fort Ave stop and MTA’s SV 94 Light and Heath stop
